Joe PooreJoe S. Poore, Chairman, with thirty-seven years in aviation has served for twenty-six years in the aerospace manufacturing industry, specializing in operations management. He has served as program manager for programs ranging to $500 million in size. Mr. Poore has extensive experience in the disciplines of scheduling, budgeting, strategic planning, and logistics supports. Moreover, he has acted as the primary contact for a major aerospace company with the US Army, Navy, Coast Guard, and FMS programs. Mr. Poore has "hands-on" experience with managing the lease and resale of a fleet of more than 200 aircraft, contract management, parts production and procurement, inventory analysis, and customer support.

Mark SternsMark A. Sterns, President, has served as chief executive for three different FAA-approved simulator training centers, including the original Boeing 737 type rating company in the US. In addition to his management of training companies, he has actively marketed Flight Training Devices (FTD) and simulators, placing cockpit systems simulators with United Airlines and a major university aviation department. He was the incorporator and director of a US FAR 135 operator and has served as chief executive officer at several US companies ranging to sixteen million in revenues. He holds a magna cum laude bachelors and masters degree in business, while serving as student association president of an active student body of 5,000 and has served as business manager of an ABA-approved law school and law firm.

Paul WoodPaul M. Wood, Director of Operations, has worked in the aviation industry for thirty-three years, ranging from USAF evaluator pilot to corporate chief pilot for multiple companies. He has served as a manager of flight operations, participating in and supervising flight testing of experimental, high-tech aircraft on sensitive, hazardous, and classified missions, as well as serving as a test pilot. He also has the experience of creating a fully operating flight department within three weeks notice, and beginning safe, effective operation after only one week of aircrew arrival. He has flight time in over twenty aircraft, holding a type rating in nine of those.

Carolyn ArmstrongCarolyn M. Armstrong, Office Manager, has served at Higher Power Aviation in this role since 1997. Previously, she worked for twenty-one years as the Office Manager for a Part 141 Flight School providing private training through Airline Transport Pilot training to both international and domestic students. She participated in long range strategic planning, including three-year budget/forecast development, and also served as the primary liaison with the FAA, including administration and oversight of FAA Written Examinations. Carolyn has extensive experience in FAA licensing, Veterans Administration (VA) programs, accounting, marketing and administrative functions, and has been recognized by the FAA and the VA for numerous unblemished audits of departments under her supervision.

Gail Wulff-HartGail L. Wulff-Hart, Manager of Scheduling and Marketing, has worked extensively in aviation training for over twenty years. Her first venture in aviation involved founding a FAA Part 141 training facility. She has served as the Operations Manager at multiple training schools, and further co-founded a computer software training school. Gail also previously served as Director of Student Services, providing flexible scheduling and operational solutions to students with varied needs. She joined Higher Power Aviation in 1999 and is widely known in the aviation training community for her creativity, service and problem-solving capabilities. Gail manages relationships with instructors, students, regulators, customers, vendors, scheduling and marketing staff.
